模索しています。

So I’m groping.

6,7枚彫って、それっぽくできたかなというのが1枚あるくらいで、まだまだコツが掴めていません。

I carve 6 or 7 leaves, then there is only one leave that looks like it. So I haven’t gotten the knack of carving it yet.
