松 荒彫り
基本は分かって来たので、
単調にならないよう表現を工夫して彫っていきたいです。

I understand the basics, so I’m going to carve with devising expressions not monotonic.

三角刀の使い方に慣れてきて、
だんだん自分の思う形に刃を動かせるようになってきました。

I’ve gotten used to how to use the V-shaped gouge, so I’ve gradually become able to move the blade in the shape I want.

画面のほぼ半分が松なので、
面白みが無くならないよう段差や角度などに変化をつけて彫っています。

Almost half of this screen is pine,
so I carved it with variations in steps or angles so as not to lose interesting.

鑿が入りづらいところもありますが、
なるべく叩きの段階で多くを進めたいです。

There are places where it is difficult to carve with a chisel, but I would like to carve more
at the wooden hammer stage as much as possible.
